Indicates the Library of Congress Control
Number, 010 field in a MARC record
Language:
Displays the primary language of a journal. Note
that some journals will have more than one language.
More complete language information will be found
in the full bibliographic record available in
participating libraries' catalogs.
Frequency:
Indicates the current frequency of a title.
Title:
Designates the primary title, which is taken from
tag 245 of a MARC record. In the case of generic
titles like annual report, the title also includes
the corporate body responsible for the content.

Country:
Designates the country where the title is published.
Price:
Prices are in local currencies. Costs may either
be by the individual issue or annual subscription
prices.
LIR/LIR
Date: Last Issue Received (LIR) with the date
indicated on the serial. Report displays "No records
as yet" against the LIR field of those serials
for which issues have not been received and checked-in
since SCIMS was implemented in December 2000.
Participants:
Bound/Airmail/Current: Participants have the option
of receiving a serial title currently (unbound
by surface mail), by airmail, or bound at the
completion of a volume or set appropriate for
binding. This field lists the subscribing libraries
and how they are receiving the title. For more

Source: Indicates the primary body responsible
for the intellectual content. In most instances
this is the same as the publisher. In some cases,
institutions and NGOs give the publication rights
to a publisher. In such cases, the source indicates
the primary body and not the publishing body.
